About Me
I left. The island brought me home.
Montserratian, content creator, events planner — and your unofficial guide to the Emerald Isle.
My story
Hi, I'm Adena.
I’m Montserratian. I lived abroad for years — and missed home enough to come back. Since then I’ve watched thousands of people ask the same two questions about my island: “where IS that?” and “how do I visit?”
The answers were scattered across social media and word of mouth. So I’m putting them in one place: the real recommendations, the practical details, and the stories — Montserrat through the eyes of someone who knows every beach, back road and bakery.
In 2026 I was honoured with the Spirit of Montserrat Award for sharing the island with the world. This website is the next chapter of that.
— Adena. See you on island.
