Why Montserrat?
The Caribbean you thought was gone
No cruise crowds. No mega-resorts. No queues for a photo. Montserrat is 39 square miles of rainforest, volcanic coastline and villages where people still wave at every car.
Yes — half our island was reshaped by the Soufrière Hills volcano. What grew back is somewhere rawer, greener and more honest than anywhere else I’ve been.
